and, to hot flash you DO NOT need the same motherboard. what you do need is a motherboard that runs with the same bios chip (if removeable), then carefully remove the bios chip from the good board while the system is running, insert the bios chip that needs flashing, flash, shutdown, remove, insert the respective correct bios chips in there proper place and you should be good to go....
