Go to a good electronics place. Radio Shack MAYBE. Not "Circuit City" or the like.

Buy the CORRECT fuse.

They used to sell a soldered fuse replacer. It's a double fuse holder. Clip one side onto the BAD fuse, and put the new fuse in the other. All done, and easy to replace again if needed.
