You just need to believe in the magic of science or the creative people who are working with them. Its like I dont think the semi-conducting transistor that ended displacing the vacuum tubes, was in a big hurry getting out of the LABs (R&D). Besides look how far semi-conductors have srunk in the past so many years, lots of barriers had to be broken.
The only real worry I have is if the goverment decided to classify the tech if its to good & use it for themselfs.
