Today AMD is king of CPU's for how long ...noone knows as Intel will be release a Conroe CPU that has benched ahead of anything the two have to offe...the CPU's that are bargain buys (ie Celeron, Sempron) are basically just the Regular crippled versions...usually dealing with the Cache.

AMD quit using CPU's pushed in MHz or GHz stats as the performance measure as there are more to CPU's then that...reset assured Intel will soon be chnging to that format.

What's the second GHz compared to the first?
GHz is GHz so the P4 is what it states and the other as well BUT that doesn't mean the 2.80GHz is the faster of the 2 other then the MHz(GHz)
