Yeppers, there's quiet a few PDF's on the net from AMD and if I would dig deep into them I'd probably go nuts in a week. I know one of them was divided into three parts, each one of at least 500 pages...
The MS page was great, it summarized a few facts very well. I'm going to need some info like that to explain a few theoretical differences but I'm pretty sure that info is possible to find on the net. Also, I'm probably going to search for a few benchmarks om the net to back up my own results, although most tests on the net will be with software that's difficult to compare with.

Since I'm actually starting on wednesday I'll know more later, but if it's possbble I'll surely return with some findings. What I believe would be easiest for you guys to help me out with, if you know something or has any links/thoughts, is the part of acceptance/demand on the market. I know that some of you guys spend hours everyday checking out the news and reading hardware reviews (did it myself a few years ago )and maybe you find something I can use.

BTW completely OT, what's the status of the so called "bird flu" over the big sea? H5N1 is spreading kinda fast and although Sweden is well educated we are all kinda scared what will happen when all the birds come back after the winter.
