thanks for the infos
I can add that Gskill tech support and exchange is top notch too, go to extreme system forums and look for the Gskill section, proceed from there.
and, just to add, i have been burning in this sucker 24/7, the AS Ceramique has taken nicely and this dual core runs as cool as the single did, finally. it was running about 3 degrees hotter when first installed.... this is the first CPU that i have had that burnin seems to be helping..............
running 30*c right now, hits 48*c at full load, ambient around 17*C.
frankly, for homey use and general stuffs, i really can't see needing more, this is one sweet setup.
i am almost glad i have the Asrock, it limits clocking a bit and therefore keeps one from going for insane stuffs.
for anyone wanting a dual core on the cheap, an AsRock combo with a 165 is pretty good. Now that Asrock has a little better offering with the ASRock 939SLI32-eSATA2 (firewire included, 1697 chipset)..........only real complaint is the vdimm offered, pathetic by most standards....
this suker rocs........
