Yes!a N.P.[non polar] electrolytic.Basically a cheap and nasty crossover,and considering the boxes[good boxes];stupid of whoever made them.It was the same with the speakers in them.[Cheap]!the boxes were a freebee;they still worked,but the edge rubber suspension on the cones had decayed to the point they no longer worked very well[coil shorts ,etc.]I replaced them with some speakers i found on special.each box is 2x10",plus midrange,plus tweeters.[also managed to kill the tweeters when i blew up the crossover"system".]and each can now take approx 300 watts;but i need to replace the crossovers;and get some new tweeters!#*@#
