Back in the days I paided $1200 for 32 MB of RAM, then again a whole OS & a game would fit on the RAM Drive & haul some major ars. Which could fit server size RAM thou I dont think winblows would like being in RAM to much either, thou they are talking about putting the OS into flash memory, its just not as fast as RAM. I dont think CPUs will make great strides any more like they have in the past, so changes will be made in other areas & on all the different bottle necks. |
