A computer P.S. should be able to supply that.Have you tried to hook it up to a power supply independent of the computer ?Either way,have you tried connecting it ,with just the power supply cablesconnected, and the data cable disconnected? presuming you have your power connector working correctly;the Hard drive should power up/and you should be able to hear your H.D. motor fire up.if it doesnt, its dead.If it does, and then you connect the data cable ,and it doesn,t;you can probably assume the H.D. board is fried somewhere;Smaller P.s,s have a habit of going high[all your voltage outputs go up in Volts.out] when they die ;and taking everything connected to them,with them.Lost two lots of Scuzzi drives i had running in an external case,that way![two different P.S,s too1]Your T,byte disk could be dead!
