Once I thought I wouldn't use Firewire but now I won't go without it...in fact I got this Gigabyte Mobo because it has 1394b built in and I use it for vid editing as well as the external HD speed is as fast as PCI/ATA-100...My SATA is hot plugable as well and with 8 ports I use 2 externally.

The PSU will be perfect for the SC Venice so I'll be using that and found it f0r $35 AR
It's running like a champ with 18A right now and did have it going with 15A's
