at least another $100 for an entry level PCI-e vid card, x1300 series minimum to run 2560x1600, don't know about the nividia side, costs are prolly the same.

a decent x1800 goes for about $370 if you want the performance back..........this new GTO2 doesn't fill the bill.............

so lets see the math,

$175.92 taxes (approx)
$370 vid card
$50 for delivery to door

$2794.92 total................

hmm, i think i am going to wait a bit until prices come down...........

still nice to dream....
