I put mines by the Box on the line that runs most of my Puters curteousy of my Co-Op Electric Co...also APC make inexpensive Batter/UPS in one that are small and work fine...they also have the whole house ones
After getting a Puter destroyed about 10 years ago, my Insurance co. (Agent also a client) paid me off under the condition that I get this protecion and in the future promised addition 20K coverage on Puters...nothings happened since and APC has even given me free battery replacements...so the bottom line is should i shell out a couple hundred now and no worries or rde with the wind and hope not even 1 Puter get hit which sirely would cost me mor out of the pocket...
The thing I've noticed with PSU's not giving enough power is a long hang time on bootup
