man, i had this problem, the restarting on occassion, drove me nuts, even did a reinstall or three.

i always set the keyboard to activate startup, it is easier in the wee hours of the AM to just 'reach out' and slap the KB to start in da dark, then off to get the first cup o java while it starts up.

damned if the cat wasn't the culprit in da middle of the night.............
