The first few times this happened I thought that maybe I had been hitting RESTART instead of actually shutting the computer off at night. However, last night I sat at my desk until the box had clearly clicked itself into the off positon. No question.

This morning I come into my office and there it is again...turned on! Maybe Sanata's elves or the little people?!~?? This has happened now 3 or 4 times over the past month.

Has anyone ever heard of anything like this. I have a broadband connection and have added a wireless router just before this started. However, the only wireless computer involved is my laptop which is always off at night. This is a small home network and the only computer turned on after I shut mine off is my wife's, which she usually shuts off a couple hours after I shut down my office box.

Could someone be getting in through the wireless network (it is password protected to access the network) and somehow accessing my "turned off" computer. The motherboard is of course "always on". Or perhaps some sort of spyware infected the BIOS that Norton is picking up on?

LED......do you still need help with your water barrel project?

Thanks,
BH Davis
