There's a few things you can do to :
Be the Admin and have the kids log on to an account which will seperate them from you who'll have access to everything.
Next time the pop-up list appears on a Web page, click the item(s) you don't want them to see and press delete.
You can use Content Advisor in the IE Internet tools.
Use a different Browser for those sites.
