well, in the old versions like 1.23 (I just happen to have that) the 4800+ for example is ID'd at around 11000 MHz rating even though it shows the correct speed. That version does not show the CPUZ revision number.

Some of the newer CPUZ versions do NOT show the correct speed of AMD processors, I ran into that issue in the Foxconn / Opteron review where only the 1.30 Rev gives accurate numbers.

Plus, given the fact that it is on x86, there is more than just a shadow of a doubt on the "certification"...
