They would force you to pay for multiple IPs for *any* form of networking if they could, but AFAIK the courts have already ruled that just like with phones, once the signal is inside the house, how you subdivide it is up to you (short of causing problems that feed back into the system of course).

So, if buy a router or use ICS, they can't do anything to stop you, but they'll eat their own hats (dipped in a salsa made of babies, of course) before they'll help you configure it or otherwise maintain it.
