2000 just died...

I wanted to run Limewire on the Compaq with win2000, but it informed me that I needed a JRE. JRE informed me that I needed SP3 or higher. So, I installed SP4, then the JRE, then Limewire and all was well...

Then this morning, I plugged in my digital camera into the USB port, and turned the camera on like always, but this time, the computer rebooted. The reboot hung at the starting up screen. And it hangs here every time I try to restart. What do I do now?
