Well, there was nothing in the advertising that mentioned anything about networks, and I didn't have to sign anything for the installer. I've read everything that the cable company gave me, which wasn't much, and nowhere are networks mentioned. So, that said, I don't think they should have disconnected the network, or, at least asked. He didn't ask- he just started pulling plugs. And also, when they hooked up the TV, he took an existing splitter off the side of the house and installed a bright, shiny new one that was almost identicle. He kept my old one. I asked if it belonged to the cable company (I already knew the answer, since I installed it myself), he said no, but we have to take them off. So I asked for it back, and he told me it has to be turned in??? Now THAT is theft.

BTW, I called the local office, and got the same junk- multiple computers are allowed, but not supported- sorry about your network if he didn't damage the equipment...
