Often times when you change ports and computers around you have to release and renew the IP's. Some systems 'lease' the IP permanently, and so when their spot is taken they freak out.

Open a command.com console, and type this command in for each of the computers

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

If your computer can 'see' the network, then it will refresh the IP and DHCP lease, and will fix a lot of issues you have with them not seeing one another.

If the /renew takes a long time to finish and returns an error, there is somthing wrong in the systems network settings.

Note - This does assume that the hub you are using handles the dhcp, if not, then this will do little to nothing and might even erase your settings, so make sure you have a dhcp server up first!
