A good start is what programs do you use now & if you do games & what kind of games.
Another question would be how much battery life you may need. You can get real powerful CPU's or energy saving ones.
Also what are you willing to spend.
I always tell people with the mind set to maybe get MAC is if your friends or family have they. Cause you may need help & trading is good to (I didnt just say that).
Other then that I can not help ya out anymore but other here can.
