I didn't have much problem with the last boss. I think the only weapon that actually hurts it is the soul cube. The other monsters just appear to allow you to charge the soul cube to attack the Cyberdemon. So, just kill the other enemies as fast as possible to charge the soul cube, and you should have no problem taking it down.
