I already posted a Compaq question, so I figured an HP question would be a fitting follow-up. A buddy gave me this one- a 734n. But he kept the memory. I was milling around on Ebay, and noticed that one seller was claiming that "just any old stick of PC2100 won't work- the 734n requires specific memory from just a few manufacturers." Is this true? Or is this guy just trying to secure sales?
