The hack way would be a 2:1 stereo headphone splitter plugged into the "Line In" jack on the PC, and fed by the "Line Out" jack on both laptops. Then connect the headphones to the "Line Out" jack on the PC. If you're lucky, you won't get a ground loop hum out of this. Cost, about $8-15 for cables.

Another option which avoids ground looping (and distortion from combining two of the signals without mixing) is to buy a 3:1 audio source selector. RadioShack carries one, there are others. Then you buy suitable patch cords so that the headphones plug into the output, and each PC/laptop plugs into an input. Select whichever one you're using. Cost, $10-20 for the selector and $8-15 for cables.
