This looks like a 2 years old Averatec 5100 series laptop with the labels removed. Moreover, if the Optical RAM was non-volatile, then it would not need the standby power and the little optical lens for the laser is too slow to move within 2 ns to the read (or 3 ns to the write) location as claimed on the package.
