The house electric is not that old, its the power lines feeding our block, area, or sub. Being a suburb of Detroit, Its weird we are on a power grid that runs mostly east & west. My old house 4 & 1/2 miles from here is on a different grid & I swear it runs north & south more, in 19 years I lived there we only lost power like 3 or 4 times. This new house lost that much power in the first 2 months, thou now its way better. I believe it was many different problems fixed slowly over the past 10 1/2 years, including a new pole transformer feeding me & my neighbors. Also we do not get any industry power surges here, but our A/C does drop or affect the voltage level abit when it starts.
That would be one UPS times five, ouche the pocket book.
