ATI 9600, different versions and makes...

My HDTV website says the best vid card for my Home Theatre computer is an ATI 9600.

No after doing a search I find there a zillions of 9600 versions.

I need it for my 1368x768 50" plasma which I run off my HTPC. The current 32MBG400 Dually is doing an okay job but I think there may be a little instability. Actually I didnt it would work with my new AsusP4P800 mobo - but it does and I didnt even change any BIOS settings!

Anyway - I want to try the card and DVI and possibly even better the component out if there is one (low priority).

In summary - Questions.
1.Would a 128MB 9600 do the job for my HTCP?
2. Would I need to even think about using a Pro or similar?
3. Would a Gigabyte or other type of brand do the same job?
