I've got a K8N NEO2 Platinum which has a very odd problem. It only powers up about once a day or so. After switching it off it doesn't power back up for a significant amount of time no matter how many times the power button is pressed. I thought it was the power supply, but I just got a new 500 watt job, which should power everything short of a nuclear reaction. I've got an A64 3000+ Venice core processor on it and a pair of 256MB PC3200 Mushkin high perf memory sticks on it. I've got all the non essential stuff unplugged from the PS, and I tried to boot with just the above, a GF6800GT a floppy and a CD drive, but it wouldn't do a damned thing. I've heard that a BIOS flash would solve the problem, but I've got no way of knowing yet. I was trying to flash the BIOS, but my floppy didn't want to boot, so I tried to power down to boot from my 98SE disc, but now it won't even power on. Anyone hear anything about this?
