But their are different grades even within Taiyo Yuden. 
If you don't want to jump for such a large quantity until you have tested their performance first these linked below work very well in NEC's 3520A, but you won't know how they perform in the Sony until you try. They are rebadged Taiyos but I don't know if they are the same grade as those LED linked above. For example, total rip + burn time to produce a copy of "The Rookie" was 22min with 1Click DVD Copy (7 min burn). I never bothered to calculate the burn speed.
One brand or batch of DVDs may burn great in one model of burner and not perform very well in another make/model of DVD RW drive. Also, a BIOS flash can improve burn performance with some brands of DVD's and a particular burner. It's always best to test DVD's yourself until you find a brand price/performance you're satisfied with and stick with it.
