I have Hibiscus next to the pond. They are the hardy variety. Have blooms like saucers on them in June. Just in time for the Japanese beetles. Those suckers take their toll on roses, Hibiscus and crepe myrtles.

Setting today, but will send you a picture or two
later tonight if I have any energy left. Youngest daughter and kids and maybe the er boyfriend are due in late tonight or tomorrow morning, pending when they leave. (5 1/2 hour drive)
