I can get the XP ntloader to boot XP as partition 2 or D: only I cant get it to do win98 right as it wants all the files XP uses, I know this route will fail. The last fix I did get XP to see the win98 partition which was a first as in recovery console 98 does not exist only D: XP.
My recovery of 98 with a sys c: from floppy to come here to ask for help works most of the time. This all seems very crazy with 2 to 4 more partitions yet I would put down the PC forever this just stinks.
It just seems that XP does not know how to boot win 98 & everything I am doing is a waste of time.
I do have a boot.ini on win 98 with two picks now, acopy below
