Abit Mainboard / P4 3.4 combination

Hi,

I'm looking at this board / cpu combination from Tiger Direct:

It's the Abit IS7-V2 socket 478 motherboard bundled with a P4 3.4 chip.

What I don't understand is that the board is rated up to 3.06 ghz but they put it together with the 3.4 chip. I've also noticed that a whole lot of motherboard are rated at 3.06 as well.

Is there something going on with clock speeds and 800mhz FSB that make the board actually work properly with the 3.4 chip? Or is this a screw up on the part of Tiger Direct in grouping these together?
