It's best to keep the OS's on separate HD's like you have and just get a couple of removable trays ($10ea)
...When Dual Booting sooner or later {esp with FAT32} the MFT or reading of Dual Boot gets flubbed up sooner ot\r later but if you must here are a couple of options but when it messes up don't expect me to help because to restore is to complicated to communique ...

Ghost/Acronis Win98 and then install XP as an upgrade and make a new partition, afterwords reinstall the XP Backup which you must do 1st:

2nd option would be to make 2 Partitions on the new HD and then Ghost/Acronis each one seperate...I don't know how it'll react but seem logical.
