Its not if they break its a matter of how long it takes. Five or more years from a Hard Drive is very good indead. My HD's are still lasting, not alot use only thing is I out grow them. I decided to save money on HD's in the past & stuck with Maxtor thou I almost got IBM's awhile back. Not sure about Maxtor's anymore so I am trying out seagate now with there 5 year warrenty.
