In the PC world, is "core" interchangable terminology with CPU? As in dual core means dual CPU on one die?
With the CELL CPU there are 9 cores, and I dont think they mean 9 CPUs on the die, do they? Also, the CPU beig used in the new XBOX360 is a 3 core CPU. I might be behind on my articles, so correct me if I am wrong, too 
So, are we talking just a jumblation of terminology or do these companies actually have a different meaning to what core actually signifies?
I hope that questions makes sense
