I only have a sempron 2800+, the vid card I have is a ATI 8500 64 MB but soon to be upgraded to a 6600 or a 6800. Ya I was having trouble with what I thought was heat, per why I ended up with a sempron plus my local dealer on had that in stock. It turned out that my PSU was bad a 300 watt antec it broke two MoBo's the CPU was a 2400+ & it ran hot.
So I hope this combo works.
