SOB fan on it evidently has gone south (At least the plastic shield is sort of crumpled and melted,oops) Have had the weird shut down of video in SIMS2 and I had checked the fan on the card about a month ago and it wasn't crumpled then. But today I thought I had way too much heat coming out of the exhaust fans so I shut down and whew that puppy would burn ya!So I pulled the card and not a pretty sight. RMA' ing the card is more hassle than it's worth, it works until it gets scorching hot. But which fan for it?
Found a Zalman ZF700 I think will fit it and one made by Logisys Copper VGA Cooler. Both supposed to fit the FX5700 card. Y'all got a personal preference?

Also have another board coming to test. Another Shuttle Zap's sending me to see if it's the board itself that's causing the boot problem.

In the meantime, here I sit video card in hand on Sonny's machine....because SIMS2 crumpled the fan on my FX5700...talk about a tough game. LOL
