Before you try idea just below from old post.
BTW with the old file you cant delete try renaming it to a non running file.

Try this first in my computer, C:\
goto the bad file & right click & pick properties, goto the bottom & unselect any checks in the two boxes the (read only) & (hidden boxes) & select the archive box to be safe. Select OK now you should be able to delete the file.
