As I think you may need to.
As the two boxes left blank is fine.
The second box is a long phyical Hard Drive check of the sectors, something you run once in a while unless you are have a big problem. Run that like when you have a long time away from your computer, & so it completes the task the first night check the first box to so you dont get prompted if you should fix the HD yes/no.
BTW with the old file you cant delete try renaming it to a non running file
