You should be dead, if you were wet you would be. As two 120 VAC lines out of phase are even worst killers then 120 V. I dont even understand fully our 220v but its not like your standard 110 Volts. You cant just wire two 120 V light bulbs in series making it 220 V as that would be one hell of a short circuit. The two hots can not be active at the same time.
