Ya I should mention that I no longer over clock my systems. I had trouble with other computers here & then on my system so the OCing has stopped. My system has to be stable & I lost two MoBo's last year & some ram on my main system turned out to be a under powered Antec PSU. With the new MoBO (nVida 2 chipset) after awhile I ended up moving the two HD's away from each other now one is on the primary IDE channel & one on the secondary. Normally only one HD is one at a time win 98 or win xp. I wonder how many IDE devices you & connie have plugged in & where ?.
I also know that nVida 2 chipset does not support any win 98 stuff so my USB is totally broken in 98 not even a driver for USB 1.1 bummer. Thou in XP I have USB 2 which may mean I only have slow speed USB 2 or now is called full speed.
