That damn NF2 board. Like I've said it has a boot problem in that when I turn it on, I have to hit the Power button, then I get the monitor is ok check your video cable, hit the reset and it boots up, picture and all. Does this 80% of the time, but 20% of the time it boots from just hitting the Power button.
I have a Cyber Power Back up on this machine (Tis the season for the rural electric company to have it's blips, about a minute or less power off)twice it's happened when I was on the machine and everything was ok. Don't have my monitor hooked up to the back up yet. Today it blipped, the Backup held the computer but when I came back here I had the check video cable message on the monitor screen and had to hit the rest to get my video back. Monitor was in shut down when it decided to go off.
NVida FX5700 video card. Know it's not the video card because it was fine on this monitor on the ECS Board and it started this when I changed to this NF2 board. Is it an electrical problem with the AGP on this MB? Been goofy like this since day one set up.
Any ideas? Might RMA the board if I can corner the problem.
