I keep the full OS versions bloatware myself.
I am having a rash of problems as my old win 98 crashed & burned (a MoBo switch)& I lost alot of stuff. I have the programs but no windows & registery info. So they wont run.

Now I need my scanner & its USB. The new MoBo with a Nforce2 chipset breaks the USB 1.1 even saying win 98 no longer is supported.

I had lost the scanner driver CD which had 3 programs on it. Now Acer only has one of the 3 programs to download. To even see & try to use this program I have to get it to the other OS XP on a different HD, they no longer see each other.

Installed Nero to burn CD RW.
Now I am off to test the Scanner on XP.

I cant wait till someone makes a better windows &
supports it all.
