Thanks all for the advice.

Yeah, my niece has a friend who works for FedEx in her town so we may get the $100 automatic insurance. Unfortunately, I did not insure it for more like I planned to. When I was in the FedEx office sending it out I told the woman behind the counter that I wanted $1000 insurance, so she grabs a utility knife and goes to cut the box open, saying she has to check to make sure it's packed right. I told her to forget it, figuring that she would only put one piece of tape back on it to re-seal it, and that it would pop open during shipping and get damaged for sure. So, they wouldn't give me the insurance.

Thanks for the insight on the motherboard situation, ludicrous. I can't see exactly from the photos my niece sent me, but it appears that the bend starts right above the top end of the MB, right about after the first 5.25" bay. It is either right after the end of the MB, or within a half inch or so of the end. So I am hopefull there is no pressure on the MB.

Keeping my fingers crossed...
