I have had cheap cases that were bent, they were just not made right. I have had to re-adjust the ISA & a few PCI cards so the MoBo would run without crashing somehow. So the cards should be plugged all the way down & they should look straight looking at them plugged in & screwed from all directions.

The thing that scares me besides the screw holes holding MoBo down which can crack is the CPU is not designed to handle that much stress. Also the cheaper the Heat Sink holder is, the worst the CPU & its socket holder got hit.

Anyways let us know how it turns out as this is something most of us will never try. I hope you had insurance to & good luck with this.
