Yeah, haulin around a power brick can be a hassle, just watch what ya buy cause many work fine from one USB alone but some require pluggin into the PS/2 port and others require power from 2 USB ports. The drive's power requirements are the main thing to check but the linked case is as slim as I've seen and the 40GB Samsung works fine from one USB and has 8MB cache.
