That 3000+ Winchester is known to do 2.6 with the stock retail fan on it.It's a whoopass overclocker. Andy has one on a Gigabyte K8NS-939-NF3-Ultra MB.
Think he will try it after the CPU is burned in. Said it was running 25C on the retail hs/fan at the 1.8GZ it comes out with. Said his Video frame rates doubled in World of Warcraft from 30 FPS to 60FPS. The game is no longer choppy and he's a happy camper.
The only comment I saw on the overclocking was from another gamer that set his back to 1.8 from 2.7GZ because it didn't improve his gaming FPS. SO to a gamer it might not be worth it to overclock it.
