Got a 3000+ winchester with a shuttle sn95 v2. Love it. Multipliers are NOT locked. Just not accessible trough BIOS.

With some tinkering with the DSDT, iasl and powernow-k8.c and running Gentoo, I'm able to undervolt and overclock as I like. For example running 2200 at 1.4V, dropping to 1800 at 1.2V and 800 at 0.9V (standard is 1800/1.4 and 1000/1.1).
