Title: Fraud on the website
Catagory: Internet

Body: Your website has been using bots to inflate the prices on domain names, so that people cannot buy them for reasonable prices. This is illegal and justice shall be done about this. It makes me sad to see such fraudelent activity happening, I wish you all the best in the future, and that you can clean up your dirty act.

Response: I think this person may have wanted to aquire the cpu-central.com name. We only ever bid on the one domain name. We aquired the name totally legally through snapnames.com . As for the use of the bidding bot, I doubt it is illegal, but you can take it up with snapnames.com since it is their bot. Ebay uses the same type of technology.

Any unregistered domain name can be had for $8US - go to godaddy.com.

If you wish to aquire an expiring name you have two choices. Before the name expires subscribe to a backorder service like:
snapnames.com or
pool.com
(it is best to subcribe to the service affiliated with the current registrar of the domain)
Or you can wait for it to expire and hope no one had backordered it.

As far as the price goes, why would we want to inflate the price we paid for the domain, that is nuts.
