Hello,

Machine is underclocked and never set above normal settings. The BIOS is set to load
"safe defaults". Have been booting from original factory CD even tried Win98 startup disc 6-7 times as well and removing the floppy as a boot device in the BIOS.

I disconnected all the cabling except for the burner and hard drive I'm trying to reinstall an OS on. I have changed out the cable with one in an unopened bag you get with new hard drives. I have hooked up all the hard drives like normal and nothing different happens.
No license problems with any of the OS's I've been trying to install. The OS's all worked on the various hard drives I've swapped in(at least once) and I have the OS's installed on two other machines. I'm on a home network but do not use it to do multiple installs. I haven't tried booting with AV software.

CPU is clean and fan is rotating. Side cover is off for the many hard drive swaps.

No CPU swaps from the good machine because I have to have one of the twin machines working. I'm using an older duron machine now and no CPU swaps.

Factory CD, haven't checked reader.

Power settings are good in BIOS, 430W true blue power supply. Heat at 114F after blue screen.

Fan speed is seen in BIOS.

I'll swap out burners and see what happens. Thanks, no one.
